I have created this blog at the urging of a couple blogger
friends, Darvin Dowdy and The Crawfish. Bear with me as I learn how to create and manage a blog. If this experiment goes awry, you can blame
those two fine fellows!
My blog title reflects, in a somewhat obscure manner, my
view on the direction our great nation is heading. I feel our nation and our society has been and continues to drift
farther away from the principles our Founding Fathers intended when it was
created.
I believe the academic elite,
nationally and globally, holds an unchallenged monopoly with minor exceptions
on indoctrinating our youth with their brand of Tranzi or Transnational
Progressivism and Liberal feel-good rubbish with an ultimate aim at Global
Governance. They are cutting the heart
and soul out of our nation as precisely as any Thoracic Surgeon could. I for one will not join their cause or
further it in any way. I will do
everything in my power to expose them for what they are, thief's in the
night. For more information on the Tranzi
movement go to Darvin Dowdy's blog and check out his recent post.
While I do not normally advocate creating new laws, we have
entirely too many un-enforced laws on the books now, or meddling with our
wonderfully crafted Constitution I do think it may be time to add another
amendment to it. Our Founding Fathers
would never have dreamed that this amendment would be necessary when they
crafted the original document; in their time it was unthinkable that you would
not be responsible for your own actions. What I would propose is an amendment addressing the Responsibilities of
a Citizen in our country. For too long
we have heard the liberals wailing about Rights with no mention of what the
responsibility of acquiring those rights entails. I feel that some rights are God given from birth while others
must be earned. To group all rights as
God given is erroneous. I will try to
spell out my thoughts on this in the future. Feel free to comment on this idea.
There ya go DD and Craw, my first pithy blog!
