Like many here at TownHall I dread the incoming administration and its blatantly socialist agenda. To see a form of government already proven to be a failure multiple times over, instituted in my own country, is a nightmare come true. With the looming menace of bigger government becoming more and more a part of our lives I think many of us have had thoughts wondering how we can actively fight or at least resist the incoming socialist regime. I have not seen any plan yet that holds any great promise to stop the expansion of government into our lives. I do hold out some hope that someone smarter than I am will figure out some way we can resist in a meaningful and useful way.
In the meantime, I have decided that until a better plan comes along I will passively resist any and all programs or agendas that are put forth by the incoming administration. I have only heard of a few of the proposed programs, Universal Healthcare being the major one. If or when they institute this program I will not participate.
If they send me a "bailout" check, I will not deposit it but rather cash it and stash the money away outside of the banking institutions. Depositing this money keeps it in the system while cash unspent removes it from the same system. I will not purchase any product from any company which has been or continues to be propped up by our new socialist government. I think a more robust form of the barter system is bound to appear in our nation as people seek to avoid supplying our government with funds from sales of goods and products. I will do so whenever I can.
Feel free to post, in the comments section here, any additional ways in which we all can passively resist the socialists and I will try edit this post to show these ideas as soon as I can. Together we can possibly hamper, even if we cannot stop, some of the Marxist dellusions of grandeur taking over our country.
Obama, Pelosi and Reid,
impeachment is what we all need!
Get rid of the RED, we'd be better off dead,
than to suffer your Marxist greed.
Forgive me waxing poetic (poorly), I couldn't resist myself.
